I always loved solving problems but the only problem I had is I wanted to solve problems on a larger scale. It was the New year 2020 and was the January month and I planned to do great things this year and I applied for the Ai for India Hackathon. It was really an awesome moment that I was selected to attend the Hackathon on Jan 29 and Jan 30, 2020. Another good thing that occurred that my friends Kannan and Varun also got selected and we started our journey together from Coimbatore to Banglore.
We arrived at early morning at Banglore at one of our Friend's home and started our journey towards Google office at Bagamanai Tech park. I was highly excited because I had attended hackathons but not these big ones. As soon as I entered Google's office it was an awesome environment and I got my Guest Id card.
AI for India Hackathon is Organized by Google Pi formally known as Google zoo. I met great people there was a mix of both Students and Professionals. There were Developers from Amazon, Nokia, and many other companies too. We had an awesome inauguration by Aditya Mirchandani from Google PI that was really great and we came to know that we are going to solve the problems of Companies like Maruthi,Policybazaar,TVS,Cricket.com, Swiggy, and Lenskart.
The most awesome part is that we had a session with the Developers from Tensorflow Team. They told us how easy it is to solve problems using TensorFlow and how we can easily implement solutions in our ming using Tensorflow. Every company explained their problems and we had given the choice t choose two problems and based on that we had been shuffled into teams. The Various roles in a team were Developer, Designer, and ML engineer. I chose Designer and we were shuffled and we got an awesome team.
It was so awesome that we worked with policybazaar.com and we had young and dynamic people who arrived from that company who also gave suggestions in the development of products and provided with all the essential resources to solve the problem. We solved some Interesting problems and developed Working prototypes and it was an awesome experience that I will not forget in my life. The food and snacks at Google are awesome just loved it that gave us more energy to work well too.
